Tina Turner

Class act singer Tina Turner At performing on stage, a fast learner! Her worse half was a man named Ike. We loved her all the more when she made him take a hike. June 2, 2023 For John Anderson's What's Love Got To Do With It - Poetry Contest

Reads like a good contender to me for the contest. Way to go. I watched some of her music from her earliest to the latest and it is amazing at the change in her style, persona, and voice over the years. Of course, with age she improved. Thanks for sharing and dropping by my page. Sara

This is what happens when it's not just art but also life. What happens when you get named the Queen of Rock but not Soul. Become a Buddist instead of a Christian. And remembered more for Dancing than singing, no taps just curves.

She was a great singer. Pity she had to leave her husband. Reminds me of Whitney Houston.

Strangely, although I love her ‘music’ I never bought a single track (no idea why). A strong minded winner of a woman, now in receipt of numerous well deserved accolades… save one… that lady simply COULD NOT dance! Hey! She was a singer, so what the hell! Great lady.

hahaha. Well, remember that song about the way Jagger moves by the famous singer of Maroon Five? It was my favorite song of that year!

She was certainly famous for her dancing…. Perhaps that should be infamous! Story goes that she taught Mick Jagger to dance… which speaks volumes.
