Yes. Samuel is the Anglicization of Shmuel, the Biblical Prophet. Now, you can look up 'Gershon.' Thanks, Valsa.

Looked up you middle moniker .It means His name is God in Hebrew and is a derivative of name Samuel.Many notable men named Shmuel..Gershon means exile.
