Timeless Replica
In eons past the trip was planned. Engineers and artists built sturdy, a symbol just in case
Practice-runs of engines, materials and design, were left in place as a marker at their base
A hop, then a skip to a new world from the old, assured their symbol would not be defaced
On arrival in a desert, a replica was built, reflecting a potent symbol that time has not erased
