Time Warp-Fright

Life changed in an instant
Explosion, posessions littered, poignant
Distant siren's wail, mother chants,
My baby, my baby!! life shant
End today, only six month's delay-don't rant.
Posessions, my slant
can be replaced. Life can't!

Very well done, Doris! In times of tragedy, we may lose possessions, but saving lives is far more important than saving material things. Much to ponder in this excellent verse. You're a very good writer, Doris. Love, Carolyn
