Time, Use It Wisely

Time, I’ve found, is unforgiving,
It cannot be bartered or given away.
It’s consumed each day while living,
And can’t be added to a future day.
I’ve said “if only I could find more time,”
While searching throughout my day.
I saw time flee with each clock chime,
Finding more time was just a clich’e.
