Time Traveler

Your face is a time capsule
I travel the lines of your life
As I trace the line of your jaw
Every insignificant moment
That you couldn’t remember
If you tried
Has brought to reality
The man in front of me

To be perfectly you
The atoms combined
Just right as you grew
The sun hit your face
At a unique angle
You learned to smile
Just the way you do
I am a time traveler
Looking into your dark eyes
Seeing each of your days
Culminated into today
