Time To Let Go - Emotive Write

It’s breaking my heart, but I must let go;
I’ll miss you by my side my loyal friend.
At the vet’s surgery my tears did flow, 
you were wagging your tail until the end.
I’ll lay you to rest in the lush meadow,   
safe in the shade of the weeping willow,
