Time To Chill

It's dark out now, and I can hear the rain drops as they hit my window.
I listen as the cars go by while I open the window real slow.
I can feel autumns chill in the air as soon as I feel the breeze blow.
The night is cool and wet the kind many do not desire.
It's ashame that it's raining cause it be a perfect night for a fire.
I sit looking out the window as I drink my beer.
And think about the few cool nights I have left before I move out of here.
Makes me wonder about these days in my sight.
And how it will be there on that first cool night.
