Oh, if I could only turn back time, my mom would be living a life sublime; and not a name engraved in stone, now, I stand here weeping all alone. I should be visiting mom at home, but, by myself on country drives I roam; I miss those days mom- of adventure, driving into the unknown to venture. Oh, mom you are to me precious, now, time is slipping and I am anxious. Gina, hold your mom close to your heart. My mom was more that a mother to me but my best friend in the world, when I lost her I was shattered, still am, she was my rock, my safe harbor, my anchor now I float like a balloon set free ~ Thank you for visiting my poem !
