Oh, if I could only turn back time,
my mom would be living a life sublime;
and not a name engraved in stone,
now, I stand here weeping all alone.
I should be visiting mom at home,
but, by myself on country drives I roam;
I miss those days mom- of adventure,
driving into the unknown to venture.
Oh, mom you are to me precious,
now, time is slipping and I am anxious.
As a child in your bed I would climb,
even when you were sick and I was grown;
as a child my hair you would comb,
now all I have to hold is your picture;
oh, turn back time to days precious.
