Time Stands Still
time stands still
slow the pace of life
a howling silence
surreal as autumn tenor
all shades of grey
droop overhead
eyes soaking up
most somber thoughts
piano notes gather in the clouds
blaring echoes of solitude
as silver teardrops collect
in a hollow heart
