Time Is Breached
A thirst for truth in an ocean of lies,
A painting, replicated
Their typical guise.
The appearance of good
Peel back each layer,
Morality submerged, as it all becomes grayer.
Time is breached!
Are you listening or just hearing?
Time is breached!
Are you the one steering?
Time is breached!
Can anyone tell?
All their subtle songs send us all straight to hell.
We are all trained to accept what we so desperately fear,
We learn to take lightly what we once held dear
Their darkness is tinted with a neon glow
Attracting their victims
While erasing them…. slow
The chill of mid-winter
In the middle of spring
No amount of shelter can warm up the destruction they bring.
The illusion may vary
But the price is the same
No one gets out of escaping this game.
