Time Has Told

time has told as days grow old either shy or bold people's hands unfold to show who they really are and some are left with scars some belong behind prison bars others gaze and meditate towards the stars nothing is new under the sun for I can't be the only one that has come undone putting myself back together just wasn't fun putting together the pieces of a game that never ceases if only the wicked way eases and at last justice releases time has told as if souls have been sold perhaps it was for silver or gold or the hearts and minds grew ever so cold it was not that my eyes were shut it was anything but for I saw something coming; but exactly what? laying in wait for me to turn around and then they cut ocean deep betrayal New York Times bestseller fictional portrayal slander on a grandiose scale unveil fish stories and tall tales ugliness galore on the inside spewing over so it doesn't hide no longer will I let it slide no longer will I join them for a ride time has told secrets behold where is the loyalty of old? now like a kindled fire gone cold what happened to all of us? all the arguing and making a fuss and you did what you did because? how can you expect things to be what was? before no more what has happened; has happened sore again; it will be no more never again never again never again you were supposed to be my friend but time has told...
