Time For Peace
Why do you hate me
I have never owned a slave
Never used the "N" word
Or discriminated against
Anyone
I am not a racist
I was just born white
Why do you hate me
I have never committed a crime
Never been violent
Or discriminated against
Anyone
I am not a criminal
I was just born black
I am a man
Just like you are a man
Trying to live
A peaceful life
Stop and listen
And help others
Love one another
Lets stop talking about color
And start celebrating character
The time for change
Has come
