Time Flies

Preface: I wrote this for Shirley, a middle aged close friend and co-worker! Well here's another birthday! My how time does fly! It almost seems impossible, that another years gone by! Several moons have come and gone, since the Doc first pulled you out! You've had many joys and sorrows, so you know what life's about. It really makes no difference, how many years have passed, it's how you use the ones that's left, that determines if you'll last! If someone can be judged by looks, if that's a proper gage, then you've made the best of what you have, 'cause you never seem to age! You have a youthful figure of which you must be proud! Anyone who isn't blind, can see you're well endowed! You've a pleasing personality, warmth and charm and wit. You always stand-out in a crowd, unless there's a place to sit! So have a Happy Birthday, Shirl and have a little fun! Count your many blessings, like knowing me, for one! Don't let these words go to your head, but if you must my dear, the best way I can think of is, to stick 'em in your ear! Happy Birthday, Shirl!
