Time Change

Time change
  Night arrives with a thud
Weird feeling, strange
  Daytime's a dud

Abrupt, precious light
  so quickly departs
Nerves tense, uptight
  upset frail hearts

Enveloped by night
  to our caves we retreat
disappointment-fueled flight
  Destination ~ Defeat

I am not clear on why we still do this fall back thing; is it appropriate any more? Is it timely? Does it make sense?

I'm with you. Who needs these extra-short afternoons, or the the extra-long ones in June?! :)

i agree, gershon, but since i'm a very early riser, i do like the fact that it's not pitch black when i go out for my morning walk...

Yep. You get a short window for walking in the light. By Thanksgiving that's gone too. Oh, well. :)

Yeah, me too. The sudden change to short days is a bit depressing, isn't it?! :) gw
