Time

Time we measure with a tick It is time that plays this awful trick Perception of it’s worth Is our mistake Time is a slippery snake One minute is sixty ticks How long is this, we make the fix Our own perception's task Covering us with its mask Time is our friend or is our foe Its time we must get to know Time must be ours to control It’s at the centre of our soul To be its master will give us the lead Time, take heed Time Your in my sight. I have you now, it’s such delight I bend and I twist your timely form Make you mine to conform. I have you under my control Finally completing my soul.
