Time

Listen to poem:
Of t-i-m-e, we knoweth not That which could stand still Transcends us all An opportune moment, of which to befall A flicker of hope, desireth more To seize, to freeze, this window frame Pictures in the sand, ‘sandline’ recede Rainbow brilliance, swiftly hidden from view Precious pearls, of days brought anew Wonderment happenings, fastening through Peering back with merriment glance Lost in time, of but one chance Written by Geraldine Taylor ©

This rhyme (that is what it is) uses nice archaic language here and there. I like it :) Welcome to PoetrySoup.
