Time
Time flies from sunrise past our sunset skies.
Come morn, we all arise till night supplies
a break when we surmise time sleeps to rise
the newborn day implies restart time-wise.
One-third of life denies time's valued prize;
we sleep, but time defies to rest its eyes.

Note: On average, we sleep 8 hours during 24 hours, which is one-third of a day. Anyone 75 years old will have spent, on average, 25 years sleeping!
