Time
Time can be whatever we say
An enemy or our friend
It tells us when our night will end
And when to start our day
It reminds us that we're needed
The appointments we must keep
When to laugh or when to weep
Whenever we feel defeated
It holds the future and the past
As the years for us unfold
Each day as we grow old
It's destined not to last
Time will only bring us death
But for now it silently slumbers
So 'til there's no more numbers
Cherish your final breath
