Time

Time slips away Briskly and fast, Change comes to slay On time at last. Touch feels forlorn Ooze of sad tears, Dusk forfeits morn Borne by mad fears. Change kills old joy As brisk strokes fall, Fate cancels ploy To flush yet all. Note end season Where age plays tag, No good reason Can halt last lag. Time for time here To swallow slack, Massive the fear That follows lack. Leon Enriquez 27 September 2018 Singapore
