Time

A poem I wrote about time. Where did all the time agower? Is there a button you can press that will make it go slower. Time used to last for an eternity and some but now BOOM another day has gone. Time come, time go away, I didn’t mean that, please come and stay. Time I want to hold and sit close to you, please do not pursue and then pass me as you do. Time stay by my side and with me be. I am frightened and fear that you will leave me. Forever. Time waits for no man, it is said. Time disappears into the distance and leaves man for dead. Time has to rush ahead and catch up with the yet unborn, so it can rush past them too, leaving them in its wake, like a ship in a storm.
