Tick Tick Tick

I warned you not to get too close to me
But you ignored me,
because you were used to getting what you wanted
I told you when the sparks start to fly ...
Duck,
drop what's in your hand
Run for cover,
you just opened up a can of
Nitro, nitro
Nitroglycerin
Now it's too late, your heart is starting to cave in

I warned you not to step to close to my car
But you didn't listen to me,
you had to get closer for a better look see
Then in a heartbeat, we went from zero to sixty
Wheels spinning, sparks few,
you just had to drive didn't you ...
Accelerate,
didn't want to be just friends
Kept moving faster,
even when you heard the ticking
Should've tossed the can,
the other way you should've ran
Put some distance between yourself and this neutron man
I'm nitro, nitro
Mix with me and your life is gonna explode
I'm nitro, nitro
When you see me coming,
baby you know you better go
I'm nitro, nitro
I'm nitroglycerin
And it's too late, your heart has started flat-lining

Now you're suffering flashbacks,
wishing you could reset the clock
But it's too late to shut the timer off
Tick ...
You didn't want to step away from the thrill
Tick ...
You said if this don't, something else will
Tick ...
I tried to warn you not to get lovesick,
I tried to warn you to get away quick
Boom!
The flame has reached the end of the wick
