Clever and humorous. Doris's comment below also made me laugh. It made me think of the little caped cruisaider (vampire tick's) voice snickering as it soured through the air with the greatest of ease, looking for a dog to have for lunch. As if in a movie - tick's view while flying - imagine the little tick's voice (sounding like Joe Pesci) "Heh, heh, heh ...I'm super tick! I'm a 747. Can't touch this. (swooosh ...a bird crossed paths) Whoa! Watch it. Get on the right side of the road, you hog!"

A different take on the contest, have been reading dreamy leaf poems and now this tick on a leaf, but I love the creativity and how original it is, best of luck~~

Now this is quite a creative approach to the contest, Charles. It has quite an ominous feel to it. I've heard of spotted fever, but didn't know it was carried by ticks. Lyme disease struck my late husband's sister, who told me it was carried by ticks on the deer near her NJ home. You get high marks for creativity! Love, Carolyn
