Tic Toc Goes the Clock

All around they sit and stare, For them there's really no one there. The aides come by with loaded tray, Worn out workers; little pay. They feed the sick, They push the chairs, The patients gaze, Yet no one cares. Sometimes a doctor says hello, But he is always on the go. Some people sleep; others just cry, As their med cart passes by. But most of all they waste away. For them it's just another day. Some ran a light, Some had a stroke. All were well, Till bodies broke. As days race by, Their lives will fade No one will know, The price they paid. So most don't move, A few just rock. The day goes by, Tic Toc the Clock.
