Thundering Thoughts

The thoughts Swirl inside Like a Hurricane, You are Thrown all About and Forget who You are Lost in the Wind, lost To yourself Inside, your Mind is tumbling Because of The thoughts That threaten To break you Down and never Let go, to go On and on until You let go It's a violent Rollercoaster that Has bars strapping You down, keeping You there in the Whirling storm The thoughts hit You and burn you And sting you Keeping you down Even when you Want to get up And feel happy Again, but it will Not allow it It keeps you In its eternal Winter, blaring Its icy winds To blind you And make you Stay behind The eternal cycle Of the thoughts Keeping you away You stay in one Place and this Is where you will Always be, always In one state Of mind, never Getting better And not getting The help you need Written on March 11, 2020
