Thunder, Rain, Why

Rain whispers arond me
As tears flood my eyes
I scream to the skies
Why, i ask, why
I run till i'm tired
Then walk a ways more
Silently asking the skies
Why
What did i do to deserve these lies
Why wont they go away
The skies thunder in answer
Because they were your lies
That's why
I keep walking and walking
Till the ground drops below me
I silently ask why one last time
Then spread my wings
And fly
