Thunder On My Parade

"My day,
What can I say

That not everyday has sunshine,
And I could complain and whine

But what is the sense in that,
To ask for my sunshine back

Better to change your mind,
To see sunshine of all kinds

In people places and things,
But in you it truly rings

For its a gift to be alive,
And everyday I am revived

By the beauty and the wonder,
Even if there is thunder

For it shows the power of God,
In nature’s ballade

I have a part in this story,
So grateful to be in Gods glory

To breathe, experience and feel,
All the opportunities to make me real

As I end my day,
In a thankful way

I know I am blessed,
And protected by Gods caress"
