Throw Away Poem
a throw away poem
is easy come, easy go
after it's had its say
pack it up toss it away
the meaning isn't deep
nor vocabulary wide
a throw away poem
will never tax the mind
a throw away poem
is not meant to torment the soul
is easy on the eyes
feels almost like home
brings nothing to the table
except for rhyme and flow
that's as far as it will go
