Through the Years

Emotional VINES twist through the years
clinging to the heart's desire
they GASP and sigh from changing seasons
   of love lost, love found
Because of this
we CLUTCH tomorrow with our dreamer's eternity
to INHALE its brightly HUED colors
from a heart of passionate red, cloaked in purple and gold
that HOLD these dreams warm, so they won't linger as shadows
rather address the horizon, where we watch sunsets in serenity
and GRASP tightly our hands beneath the skies of wonder
where birds GLIDE and SOAR on the imaginations of these dreams
that weave the cloth of love through time
secured by the CLASP of trust
forged in the fire of love's longing
where each kiss is welcomed beneath the bundled rays of moonlight
where our hearts beat in unison and await the morning
