Through the Steamed Up Glass

Arriving home from work
Sleepy and tired
Hot shower i craved
A quiet evening desired

To the bathroom i go
Cascades of water sounds
Through the steamed up glass
A curvaceous figure is found

Her shoulder length hair
Soaked back in hold
Her body pressed to the pane
A sight to behold

As i watch her shower
Admiring her lathered hands
Caressing as she cleans
In solitary command

Her undulations
Wetted glow
In adventurous display
Her body shows

I catch her eye
Through the steamed up glass
My girlfriend, my love
My Highland lass

Door ajar
She invites me in
Naked like birth
Skin to skin

Our hands in wander
As the water flows
We merge into one
In loving glow

I really liked this James. It took me by surprise after reading so much of your material. Your love and passion for this woman so shine through in this poem. How lovely. And how lucky a woman she is. I have been busy lately and not many visits. Glad I was able to catch this one. I will send you soup mail to answer you ? on my page. Thanks for your time and warm comments that were so deeply appreciated. Have a great day!

Sooo romantic, James! And as Deborah says, very tastefully presented in your own unique Highlander style. Now let me offer you a terrycloth kilt to help you dry off. Smile. Love, Carolyn

OH MY GOSH! I love this piece! So purely romantic and aaaahhhh so beautiful! But it also makes me realize just how much alone I really am! I cried reading this, because you are so lucky to have that beautiful passion, something I have missed for more than 4 years! Thank you so much for sharing this! It is very beautiful! You are an extraordinary talented man!
