We know that the eyes are the window to the soul,
do we fear others seeing the pain that we hold;
are we so afraid that our spirit will be stole?
Through staring eyes let your innermost thoughts unfold.

oh, can we open up and emotionally bond.

Yes, as he sat across from her the tears did flow.

no words were said as their eyes filled up with the pain;

each emotion we feel in this life leaves a stain.
