Through Miracle I Myself Became Made Aware
One day seemingly out of nowhere
After my father's untimely passing
In the depths of my despair
Tortured crippled wailing praying daily
Blaming him for never stopping leaving
A miracle quite obviously too me occurred
As he must unto and through me
A one final last departing gift impaired
His ohh so defining voice and choice of words
That distinguished him so eloquently
Above and beyond the everyday norm
As at his feet , gaze and presence you reveled
Attentively into his knowledge and wisdom
And I being nothing like he unfortunately
Is the reason being why I have now
Come to believe that miracles do occur
Simply due to the very fact
I am hereby able now to write
What I am writing to you all about now
Because it wasn't an ability I possessed
Previously or at any point in my life
So the where and how it came from
To me is proof beyond a shadow of a doubt
That somehow or other through me
My father Gerard Vincent Flaherty
Is still very much a part and alive
In sprit and soul and relevant today
As that fateful tragic day he sadly passed away
And a miracle of miraculous proportion
Came to pass enabling a part of him to stay
Behind enveloping my mind
