Through a Sea of My Dreams

The still tide passing
Red waves suddenly awaken
Against a golden hymn

I swam over a changing moment,
I am as a red-copper colored rose

A child, still hoping, in the delicious sea
Filled with dreams…

Smaller, yet found worthy of the sun,
As each heart-shaped petal spreads,
I am found, rolling in the brass-blue rays of dawn …

Cool is the depths of the sky and sea
Still I am I, soft to the touch and strong of will,
Gathering no stone unturned, searching still…

The one thing I am wondering
Can I still feel if I should see him---?
Standing there singing,
With love in the heart of dawn
