Thrice-Time Tllings

Sweet angel bells caress the air
With tlling, tlling, tlling

Thrice they chime their gentle tllings
Then thrice again once more

With fluted softness, the tllinging brings
A chorale of soul-lights – Heaven sings

Thrice they sigh their gentle tllings
Then thrice just as before

And me? So sad? Such a sad, poor thing
Am soul-brushed - . tlling, tlling, tlling

Brought home to life, come home to love,
Throw wide my stained glass door

As hummingbirds, afloat mid-air
Still their rainbow wings

Astride the currents of the thrice-time tllings
Transformed beyond their core
