Three Wishes

Three wishes the good fairy gave
For which I rejoiced and did rave;
I wished for some bucks
But didn’t have luck
When I lost on a dark horse named Mave.

I thought long and hard for the next
For this wish I wouldn’t be vexed;
I wished to spread cheer
To those far and near
But all I could do was send texts.

My last I will choose with much care
And clearly make known my wish there.

Cute and uplifting. The first stanza had me chuckling a bit and the last, smiling. Nicely done.
