"Three Sides To Every Story"  Sponsored by: Silent One Written 11/30/2024

"Parents forget relationship problems affect children involved, as they see and hear it through their own eyes." Quote by Poet Nesting in the kitchen table, Moving my nervous feet around. I am picking at my food, on the plate Unstable, unable to eat. While concealing the audible waft through waving shadows. My parents argue,"WE CANNOT AFFORD And LIVING PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK." Voices quake, susurrating deep In my mind and kernel frame Making ripples spread As hushed cries yield. At the end they kiss and make up … A blaze of pure warmth Whilst it mingles off its Charm, glowing, being in love.

What an engaging piece and so well written! I think many can relate to over hearing grown ups conversations in phrases. Great entry for the contest! Good luck!

Wonderful write. I so remember the fights my parents had, too... sometimes, I felt so alone during those fights, as if the battle were going to last forever. Children are the hearts who carry the worst of those memories. Love this write. Such a challenge and one you've boldly explored. Love to you and blessings too. Gina

Your quote is excellent. Families should be aware to keep the peace. Hugs.

Very moving Eve, parents may kiss and make up, but that doesn’t take the damage done to their child away… Beryl
