a truth may as well be a lie ~ amid words acting a-priori one goes for the visceral ~ luridly adding guts to be gory two tries reducing terror ~ adaptation for the montessori three wants to deny ~ with a false alibi in their inventory most relevant side of any said story ~ evidence not glory

Now where does the truth lie? Probably some of it lies in each Monoku.

Your exposé spins all three sides of the triangle, proof isn't in this pudding, this quip more valid than ever. Your cryptic and enticing ponderings supply much food for thought, a tossed word salad with a mystery dressing. A tasty treat for the mind! ~ lovely display

Heya Anaya, food for thought is always good, hopefully I didn’t cryptically overfeed this one with too many angles, evidence seems to be the safest and smartest option when dealing with stories, of course we can all have faith, and if it hurts nobody and brings comfort all the better, I certainly won’t try deny anyone that, cheers David

Thought provoking set of Monokus David, you never give the reader an easy ride lol. My favourite is the last one, good luck in the contest and enjoy your weekend, had a lovely dry spell here the last few days. Tom

Heya Tom the last one is is actually relevant to the three above it, if the story is played up, down, or even made up, evidence should always be sought and tested especially in today’s tech environment of deep fakes and misinformation, weather is terrible over here last 5 days, with an endless drizzle falling, you’re on the right side of the sea lol, cheers David

and somewhere between them all lies the real truth. Or is such a thing as the real truth not an accepted notion any longer? Nothing now ever seems black and white. Your Monokuing has become an art form for me. I need to write more of them as soon as I find a worthy reason. lol Nicely written, as you always do.

Heya Lin insofar as the 3 sides to every story goes, I tend to go with the one with credible evidence, my best and worst trait was always asking questions, and taking nothing for granted, of course I can give others the benefit of the doubt, but wouldn’t put my house on it lol! There is a little art form in my monokus, makes them a bit tricky but can also throw up surprises in the process, thanks so much for stopping by, cheers David

Hi David, Just love how your mind puts things together, stuffing so much into a tiny bottle of words. Your poetry is pressure packed and expands in the reader's head...

Heya Paul, love your analogy, these thoughts are indeed scattered loosely in various parts of my brain, guess I do siphon them off and pour them into tiny bottles or monokus, hopefully they do expand into the reader’s mind when read, cheers David

By any means necessary - the winner takes it all. Then even unscrambling and untangling might make no difference. Great set of thought provoking monoku's - makes me wish I was firing on all cylinders to crawl beneath but my brain just offered me an ABBA song and went back to bo-bo's :)

Absolutely Dilly! whatever it takes! Your side, my side, will only get us so far, Evidence is the most important part in the three sided story, especially when going for glory, winner takes it all, great song choice, cheers David
