Three Rivers
Down the singing, winding rivers and,
under spans of big city bridges,
a steel town grew up out of a fort.
Not one, but three singing, blue rivers
made a daily chorus to the sky,
the Allegheny sings on one side,
the Monongahela, the other.
They all move westward, to the sunset,
and soon form a golden triangle.
There they join the mighty Ohio.
At the junction of the three rivers,
the City of Pittsburgh grew and grew.
