Three Moments I Shan'T Forget

There are three moments I shan't forget, mostly filled with love ...... yet one of regret. The first glance we shared I memorized his eyes, the way they sent those shivering chills down my spine. Now twenty - two years later I am still grateful he is mine, and with every single soft touch my longing for him intensifies. When I remember our wedding day it’s like our romance magnifies. Then reminiscing on the moment of my daughter’s miraculous birth. The struggles were hard, yet when I held Ella Rose I felt the love. She was everything and more that I could ever even dream of, showing me how to be nurturing full of so much self-worth. Even at twelve years old Ella is my wonderful mirth. I could never forget the day my sister died tragically. Taking her own life made me feel so much survivor's guilt. We shared a strong bond and on love our foundation was built. I remember the last happy yet sad conversation she had with me, but I can’t get out of my weary head thoughts of her wanting to be free. These three life moments in my life I shall never be able to lose sight of. For they all had a perpetual impact on how I see my myself today. I have had more delightful memories than times of disarray, and am grateful for all the happiness and endless love. One day I will recall many moments from up above. I need not worry for life will bring more memories of joy that I shall adore. Remember Contest Shadow Hamilton September 6, 2018
