Three Greats

Faith has been said to be the substance of things for which we Hope and the evidence of things we do not see. Substance and evidence. The substance is reality and evidence is proof or grounds for belief. Hope looks forward to something with desire and reasonable confidence. Where there is Hope, there is an attitude and perception that I do not have to be doomed or permanently assigned to my present situation or status in life. In the context of the cited Scripture, there is the notion and understanding that each of the three graces has the element of 'Doing". That is to say that Faith involves an activation, Hope is consumed with the task of confident expectation, and Love is an "action word" of doing something on behalf of another in unselfish ways with pure unadulterated motives. These three, says the Scripture, abide or remain. But there is also a "greatest among the three greats", and that is "Love". 10162019PoSoupContest, 1st Corinthians 13:13 Inspiration, Sponsor,Regina Riddle; 4P
