Three Cheers For P-Soup

My friends on P-Soup are loyal and true Every morning I rush to my computer To read all their happy upbeat comments And suddenly the sun breaks through the clouds At times, I must admit I have thought of leaving When everyday trials cloud my vision But then I quickly come to my senses I would certainly have withdrawal symptoms Similar to those folks abstaining from alcohol I would have to join “Poets Anonymous” for help To get me through the difficult and trying times Without the aid of friends and family I'd be a broken man aimlessly wandering the streets As I sit here writing, I am convinced This will never ever come to pass Alright, I'll admit it... I'm obsessed There! I feel much better now Admitting I have a problem is half the battle So it seems I'll be here for the foreseeable future Thank you all my dear friends And three cheers for P-Soup!

PLEASE... "winter", that's a BAD BAD word you just uttered! LOL However, the current severe heat wave we've been hit with was really extreme and finally today, it's finally getting back down to more moderate temps! In the last week or so, there have been over 30 heat-related deaths! Sad!
