Threads of Joy, Threads of Grief

Joy and grief

These threads of joy
These threads of grief,

Woven through our life,

Woven so tightly
Some days it hard to breathe,

Threads of sunshine,
Gifts of light,

Given through,
Cracks in broken windows,

Reaching down,
Sowing our darkest corners,

Back to life.
