Thoughts From Both Sides of the Fence

THE MAN:

He sits quietly,
Warm in his beautiful coat.
What is he thinking.

THE MONKEY:

Sitting here alone,
Contemplating lifes meaning.
Freaking cold out here.

LOL, witty piece, Judy. Never heard of Delta Dawn - my poem was about Dickens' character - perhaps the song was about her too?

Judy, a belated congratulations on your certainly worthy poem's win. I have been so busy renovating my old home, I just haven't had time to do much commenting. Agape, Moses

Very well written Haiku! I've been back into writing several Haikus as well! I wonder how many "good" ones I've written! Well you can chalk your number up one as this is definitely a good one!! I really enjoyed reading it tonight!!

Thanks so much my friend. This is supposed to be thoughts from both the man and the monkey. Hope it comes across that way. God Bless, JB
