Thoughts

Oft do I feel I should censor my mind,
Spill the ink on the cloth that my words lay,
Snatched by the Raven 'fore I finish my thoughts,
Mistaken by others that read as a foray,
Naught do I mean to cause an attack,
My emotions doth escape without thought,
Unhappiness apparent they will say,
Though the truth is adverse to what they sought.

If the truth is not one's friend, then one makes an enemy of it; the beautiful thing about truth, is that it can never be an inherent foe, only we, with our limited honesty & knowledge can cause truth for us to be an enemy - I would rather be given the truth of your mind then the absence of the care in which your truth carries Jay - sometimes to escape is better than to resign - " Spill the ink on the cloth that my words lay..." stunning artistry - with respect - J.A.B. %
