Thoughts

Einstein thought
that gravity was created by the curvature
of space and time,
that, like a blanket curved around the planets

keeping us down on the planet
yet that does not make sense
because then gravity would be
isolated to just each individual planet

The earth's gravity would have no effect on the moon
the sun's gravity would have no effect the earth
Instead, I think that gravity must be created
by the atom

Atoms are attracted to each other
two hydrogen atoms
link with one oxygen atom to create water
Three oxygen atoms link together to make ozone

Atoms come together to create molecules
everything is made up of atoms
perhaps gravity is simply
Atoms are attracted to atoms

Matter, attracted to matter
so the matter of the sun
pulls pools the earth towards the sun
the matter of the moon creates gravity creating ocean tides

Scientists in the documentary
the edge of the known universe
say that dark matter and dark energy
create an opposing force against gravity

yet to me, space is the absence of everything
It's the proverbial nothing, a vacuum the void of space
if you suck the oxygen out of a bottle
you create a vacuum

If space is the proverbial nothing
then could not the vacuum of space
be the opposing force that is pulling
against the attraction of gravity

Then the opposing forces would be
the sun's gravity, pulling the planet toward the sun
Earth gravity pulling the moon toward us
but the vacuum of space pulling everything away

Interesting and thought provoking. You should run for for office. Your side of the ditch. Most politician don't have many original thoughts. Well written will look at more of your work later. Regards David in NZ
