With each breath, I take With each heartbeat, I feel With each thing, I see With each sound, I hear With each flower, I scent With each being, I touch With each fruit, I taste With each step, I walk With each moment, I live I Thee glorify, my Lord, for all Thou blessings, The blessings, that so many of my fellow men: The deaf The Mute The blind The chronically ill The invalid The incapacitated, and The Paralyzed, Never had the chance to enjoy them! © Demetrios Trifiatis 15 July 2022

Yes it seems its all taken for granted, Demetrios, 40 years ago i lost sight in my right eye, with the left eye under threat, thankfully, i've managed so far to be able to keep on with the one eye. Your poem, means so much to me, thank you for posting.

Wow! Demetrios what a realization that says volumes of truth. A favorite. That is why we shouldn't complain, for there are those poor souls that do without and what a hardship it is for them. We shoud always be grateful for our health no matter how bad and give thanks. So many have it much worse. God bless you for reminding us my friend...
