Thou Art the Heart of My Heart!

O' thou the masterpiece of God's art, Thou art the heart of my heart! My friends often taunt me Why I gave thee my heart, While they should rather ask thee Why so sweet thou art?! Why so pretty, so beautiful? Why so bewitching, so smart? Thou appear on the curtain of my mind As a fairy flying on an air-cart! Thou art so sweet and charming That I wonder what thou art! When I see the moon of thy face, My eyes and heart start. – Eyes start raining red tears; Heart starts burning as hearth! N' my soul leaves me and follows thee, Thus, my body and soul get apart! How long will thou keep me weeping? Have mercy upon my heart!

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
