I was an early childhood teacher and observed those children who learned to chew food properly (usually slowly). It seemed to me at the time they were more focused and made less mistakes in other areas and came up with answers quicker, although this piece is to some extent an analogy it would be interesting if a more scientific study was made what the result would be. There is no doubt about health benefits of avoiding gulping down food or not eating on the run. Regards David
