Those Once Lovely Days

Those once lovely days,
when we were happy and together
now lost and forgotten;
like a white room in the darkness
of the forgotten mind.

Once young and beautiful,
now cobwebs laying in caskets of lost
memories,
both you and I,
lost from each other's minds.

Once in those lovely days of the
unforgettable past,
lost in a valet deep in our dark hearts;
old and fragile we are, and we've lost the
keys.
Dear, hold my hand one last time,
and remember with me those once lovely
days.

I believe we can hold onto these lovely days for a lifetime. If God is willing we will carry them into the next as well.
