Those Eyes

What beauty in this angel's eyes,
so bright, so deep, so full of life.
It is not safe to comprehend,
This mortal's words can't justify.
One look was all it ever took,
For you to ensnare both heart and soul,
And make your slave, this lowly man,
This shell whose blood can't course alone.
Those eyes, those eyes,
Still haunt my every waking dream,
I see them ever in my mind,
And know that both my heart and soul,
Are locked in them for ever more.
Oh angel's eyes, oh angel mine,
How deeply can i truly fall?
I was lost soon as you left the skies,
lost in the beauty of those eyes.

Deeply romantic and so gentle. Love the way you take the reader into your emotions. :)
